Course Overview
IHHS 101 consists of a variety of learning activities that apply to a wide range of interprofessional situations. In the introductory module, Person-Centred Maternity Care, learners from different professions will explore how a culture of dialogue and choice facilitates healthy outcomes across birth settings. The modules that follow address core topics in Communication and Teamwork, as well as the more advanced topic of Interprofessional Conflict Transformation. Shared Decision Making and Collaborative Leadership are concepts threaded throughout the course and applied to simulations at the completion of the course.
