Introduction to Module 1
Getting your course ready before the start of the term can seem like a daunting task. As a course instructor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), you play a key role in ensuring that your students achieve academic success. This module begins with foundational support information as you prepare your course. First, we suggest ways for you to manage your workload and wellbeing. We then introduce the characteristics of online learning and how to create a course that is inclusive and accessible. At the end of the module, you are provided with checklists to help you get your course ready for the start of the term.
