Here is a selection of some of the most useful resources I have gathered during my ocean conservation course. Take a look at the videos, websites, and articles down below to learn more about ocean conservation!

Videos & Lectures

1. Here is a video by Dr. Ruth Gates about coral engineering. 

2. This video about two-eyed seeing was very "eye-opening!"

3. Check out this video that Amanda showed. I think it surveys a lot of ocean issues really well!

4. This was my favorite lecture of the term and it was very transformative to my thinking. 

5. Dr. Kleiber's talk was so interesting and highlighted feminism in fisheries. 

Articles & Websites

1. Dr. Sumalia discusses how fisheries could recover in about a decade with good management!

2. This paper details some of the interesting ethical issues that come with genetically modifying corals. 

3. I really liked how this publication showed some of the bright spots in a very dark industry, promoting ocean optimism!

4. Global Fishing Watch is a really cool site that shows illegal fishing efforts that have been tracked by satellites.

5. I found this guide that ranks seafood options to aid consumer choice.
